A few months ago, I was asked to go to a house in Birmingham UK, as they had suffered strange disturbances which over a period of several weeks had worsened to the point where the familys’ 17 year old daughter was so petrified, she had moved out and refused to return.

I decided to take with me my two colleagues from the Redsky team, both Christians of some thirty two years and one who is a reverend. I had visited the house before and had allways felt uncomfortable there, but had just put that down to being in a place that was foreign to me. On arrival, I spent some time listening to what the mother of the girl had to say. Here is her account.

Uninvited Guest.

When the mother was in her teens, she used to get lonely and pretend she had an invisible friend that she would talk to. It wasn’t long before she began to feel a presence of this “friend” and talking to it became like second nature. This then developed in to more than just a feeling of something there, but she actually witnessed things moving about the house on their own and put this activity down to her “friend”. Soon she moved house and thought that that would be an end to it, but the entity soon turned up at her new place and the disturbances started again. She went to her local Christian church who came and prayed the house out and for about two weeks the place was quiet, but then the entity came back and the disturbances started again. The church didn’t know what to do and the mother just accepted the uninvited guest.

She then moved house again to where she lives now and again the entity moved with her, but this time things got much worse. The entity had thrown things around the house and had appeared as a young boy running up the stairs. The daughter had seen the young boy looking around the bathroom door at her. It had an evil demonic face and this is why she had become so petrified she had moved out.

Holy Spirit in action.

I had asked the daughter to be at the house during our visit and I asked her if she would like the peace of God in her heart. She believed in Jesus and the resurrection so I led her in the prayer of faith and she was saved. Then I led her mother in the prayer of faith and she was saved also. The Redsky team then prayed the house out and it was at peace.

The Guest returns…

About two weeks later after no activity, I got a phone call from the mother asking me to go to the house as the entity had returned. God led me to tell her that she had the power and the authority to tell it to go herself, and this is what she must do to show the entity that being in her house was no longer acceptable. I jumped in the car straight away but when I got there it was all over, the house was at peace and the entity had gone. The mother told me she had become so angry with the thought of her and her children suffering all those years, that she yelled at the entity, “Get out of my house in the name of Jesus!!!” And it went never to return again.

The Lesson.

Sometimes we learn to live with or put up with the unacceptable when we just don’t have to. This lady had lived with this problem for such a long time and because she accepted it, it kept coming back (Matthew Chapter 12 V 43, 44 and 45). It needed her to take a stand against it in the Name Of Jesus.

The Redsky team between the three of us have eighty four years in The Lord. The lady who finally cast the demon out of her house had just two weeks in The Lord.

Praise The Lord.

I entered a Stickam chat room a few months back and was struck by how miserable everyone in there was. When I asked what was wrong I was told that the daughter of one of the ladies in the chat room was in hospital with severe diabetes. She had suffered heart and lung failure and they weren’t sure if she was going to make it.

Distance no object for The Holy Spirit.

Although we are based in the UK and the lady concerned was thousands of miles away in the US., I called my wife and asked if we could have our mic activated. We prayed that she would be fully restored and sure enough within a couple of hours she was discharged from the hospital. I told her that she would sleep for hours but when she awoke she would feel like a million dollars. Her mum told her to go to bed and just as predicted, she slept for 16 hours. When she awoke she was full of energy and as she put it, “was bouncing off the walls”

She gave testimony about this event for many weeks afterwards.

The Redsky web site has been hosted by the same company since it started nearly three years ago. Over the last few months I have had a few conversations with a lady who works for the hosting company who seemed to take a great interest in the information that the web site contains.

This lady like many people, believe that because they are brought up in what is a predominantly a Christian country and that because they believe in God, they are automatically a Christian. Of course, The Kingdom of God is like any other kingdom in that to be a true natural of that Kingdom you have to be born there. Believing in God and being a good person is not enough.

After witnessing to her for an hour or so on the phone, she printed off the prayer of faith at the bottom of the “This is The Way” page, took it home and that night gave her heart to The Lord. Shortly after this, I was able to direct her to a spirit filled church near to where she lives.

This is the main purpose of the Redsky Web Site. Yes, it is a message of coming judgement, but more importantly, it contains the message of Salvation.

On our most recent visit to Chamberlain Square, the Redsky team were preaching the Gospel to a crowd of about 150 when shortly afterwards we were approached by a lady in her twenties. She was from a Christian family but had joined a Krishna commune and had been seperated from her family for ten years. She dearly wanted to go home but but felt that she couldn’t.

God ministered to her through us, then I led her in a prayer of recommittal and she was reunited with Jesus Christ. It was a like a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders and she beamed a broad smile from ear to ear. We gave her a Bible and she ran off home to give her mother and father the good news. How they must have rejoiced when their daughter arrived on their doorstep after ten years of being away from them and away from The Lord.

It’s moments like this that make it all worth while.
